Second training on environmental requirements for cohesion policy projects in the 2014-2020 programming period
The second TRAINING on Environmental requirements for cohesion policy projects in the 2014-2020 programming periodwas held in Brussels on 14 January 2016.
The JASPERS Networking Platform was created to complement JASPERS project advisory operations by implementing knowledge sharing and capacity building activities, as well as fostering dissemination of good practices and exchange of experiences among all EU member states, pre-accession countries and other JASPERS Stakeholders.
The JASPERS Networking Platform is open to relevant authorities from all EU Member States (EU 28), as well as pre-accession Countries.
The training was the second of a series of events that will address in detail environmental requirements for projects in the period 2014-2020.
The target group of the training were representatives from managing authorities and line ministries and beneficiaries that currently are or will be responsible for the preparation of projects in the period 2014-2020.
The topics covered included Project Consistency with EU Environmental Policy, demonstrating the links between a project and Action Plans relevant to ex ante conditionalities (EACs) and specific topics in the application of the EIA Directive, the Habitat’s Directive and the Water Framework Directive.
The training was organised in close cooperation with DG REGIO and DG ENVIRONMENT.
